Just be yourself.
Not the calm centered self,
not the “have it all together” self,
not the self that is powerful and divine.
You can be the self that you are right now.
If you are all or one of those beautiful things great. But if you are healing, growing, stretching, the catepillar becoming the butterfly… if you are sad, anxious, nervous, if you are a mixture, a cauldron of emotions brewing and marinating until ready to spill forth…. if you are traumatized, unsure, walled up, emotionally disconnected….be whatever you are right now.
If you aren’t ready to be honest with those around you, or even to the world, ask to be honest to yourself.
Can you ask yourself as kindly as possible….“How am I feeling right now?” …and once you get a response…… ” What do I need?”
