It’s those little moments like when thoughts quiet down and you can hear the sounds even more, feel the air on your face or suddenly notice something in your surroundings. For me, I feel it’s important to choose those moment also. To stop and look around. Feel my body. What’s happening inside and outside? What do my feet feel like on the ground? What do my clothes feel like on my body? What does my breath feel like as it moves in and out?
The more scattered and frazzled I am, the more I need to turn in the direction of moments like this. To decelerate a little so I can find clarity and space. Nature is the best medicine for this, its one of my go to’s… And even in the cold. What about you? How often to you have those little moments of space in your life?
